Drawn 2d Animation Tutorial – How to do Character Animation Part 5

Before watching this tutorial it is strongly advised that you watch the previous parts of the tutorial in order to fully understand what is being taught in the above video

Part 1 -  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zkmnl8QhJy8

Part 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yh6X6TyQhsU

Part 3 -  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bbBSUbf0hs

Part 4 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wlPTT0DG88

This Drawn animation tutorial in real time is the fifth in a series where I animate an entire scene.
Using Adobe Flash CS6 and a Wacom Cintiq I show how to draw over the rough animation that I tied down in the second tutorial. I select the key and Break down drawings and start to draw in a more detailed version of the character over them. I outline the central areas of focus such as how to make the drawings relate with each other better. how to maintain volume and shape consistency and how to refine arcs of motion. The drawings are taken to the finalising process where the key frames and breakdown frames are ready  for inbetweening.

I hope you find the tutorial and how to do video insightful. Below is the link to the FB Academy page. Please do join – and feel free to submit your work if you feel I can be of help!
